Today I get to escape my house, and my entire city, for a few days! My niece is coming over for dinner with the kids, and then I’m going home with them until some time Tuesday. Because Monday night is her oldest daughter’s school program, and they’re doing songs from the Wizard of Oz…which is my all-time favourite set of books, movie, and musical. It’s good to get away from the people you live with every now and then, and I am way more than overdue.
