Taking “Talk Like A Pirate” To a Whole New Level Beth Snyder March 3, 2011 Extras Most of us are aware of the Facebook setting to change it to pirate-speak, right? Well, now you can do it with every single thing you type! It’s not often that a mere picture of a gadget makes me laugh out loud, but this one caught me eye and ahoy, I simply must have it. My best mate and I made a rule more than 20 years ago… if it makes you laugh out loud, you have to buy it if you can. How could you resist picking up one of these? Obviously, this is a very simple device. There are no letter or number keys, with the exception of “R”, which is without a doubt the only letter any self-respecting pirate actually needs. The exclamation point is self-explanatory, and of course you’d need shift, enter and a space bar to function. The special key is off to the side. Avast probably doesn’t refer to anti-virus, but perhaps it could save you if you come under attack nonetheless. It’s even ergonomic, for those pirates worried about developing carpal-tunnel syndrome.
