Quora Adds Verified Accounts with President Obama Dylan Duarte March 24, 2014 Much like Twitter, Quora has launched a new feature that allows high-profile users of the question-and-answer service to become “verified” so that other users will know they’re talking to the real deal. Today saw the birth of the first verified account and it was none other than President of the United States Barack Obama. Obama (more likely his staff) took to Quora to promote and answer questions regarding the Affordable Care Act, where he talked about improvements made to the heavily-criticized enrollment process, as well as the overall benefits of healthcare reform. Regardless of your stance on the American President, his administration deserves credit for their unorthodox methods of communicating with the public, especially Obama’s recent appearance on Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifinakis, which resulted in the comedy website Funny or Die sending almost a million people to the Healthcare.gov website. via The Verge Share This With The World!
