The TYLT VÜ Pulse is exactly that: an accessory that wraps around the Pebble Time and gives it a heart monitor for your fitness tracking needs, as well as wireless charging capabilities. The TYLT VÜ Pulse is housed in a protective case and syncs with your phone, so you can use the custom app to access it. Active Mode will track your heartrate in real time and Passive Mode will help conserve your battery. The TYLT VÜ Pulse Kickstarter has raised $15,145 towards their $100,00 goal with the help of 229 backers, but they still have 29 days to go. You can grab one for $39 through the “Early Early Bird” tier, assuming you get one in time (there are plenty left at the time of this writing) and the Kickstarter succeeds. All of the promotional images for the Pulse are fitness-related, and that’s no doubt a big selling point for a lot of people, but the wireless charging seems like it would be mighty convenient for a smartwatch.
