Originally, this grabbed my attention because of the fabulous collection of USB drives in the picture…most of which I wish I owned. But then I realized this is one of the bigger USB hubs available, and it could come in very handy, especially given how very many devices require a USB connection to work.

One thing that thoroughly confuses me, however, is that it’s a 13-port hub, but you can only connect 10 devices at once to it. I’ve been reading and reading, and I can’t figure out how that works exactly. On the other hand, what are the odds you’re going to actually need to use 13 USB devices simultaneously? Even ten of them seems pretty excessive to me.

The hub is USB 2.0, but is backward compatible to USB 1.1. It features a built-in on/off switch which will allow you to turn all of your devices off at once. It measures 118 x 45 x 20mm and weighs just 100g, so it won’t take up too much room on your desk. You can use it with a number of operating systems (Windows 7 / Vista / XP / 2000, Linux and Mac), and it is plug and play. These are available in either white or black.

You can make one yours for just $18.00 US.
