Tunermatic Automatic Guitar Tuner for the Terminally Lazy Beth Snyder May 23, 2011 This just makes me giggle. Maybe it’s because I’ve spent the last almost two decades working with and for bands, and I’ve seen every contraption anyone has ever thought of to make simple tasks even easier. But this takes the cake, really. Sure, tuning a guitar is sometimes a long process, but it’s not like this shortens it any. Anyway. How this works is you place the Tunermatic over each tuning peg and pluck the string. The Tunermatic then takes over, winding the peg until perfect pitch is achieved. Really, it’s that simple. No more having to listen to make sure the pitch is right, no more worrying that maybe your ear isn’t as good as your audience’s, and no more struggling when you first start out playing. It works on both electric and acoustic guitars with a built-in pickup, but you can order an adapter separately if yours doesn’t have one. All you need is a 9v alkaline battery, and you’re good to go. If you simply must have one of these, you can order it for $49.95 US. If you also need the acoustic adapter, those can be ordered for an additional $12.95 US. Of course, once you break through you’ll have someone to tune your guitars for you, but until then this should do nicely. Source: Red Ferret Share This With The World!
