HD Spy Camera Light Switch for the Paranoid Beth Snyder May 23, 2011 Maybe it’s just me, but does it seem like every day there are a hundred more gadgets with hidden cameras in them? I realize having some sort of security measures is never a bad idea, but it seems to be getting out of hand. In just the last couple of months I’ve done at least a half-dozen posts on different spy gadgets, and I’m not even going out of my way to look for them. I guess it’s the age we live in. This, however, I can see being handy if you have a teenager or roommate who doesn’t quite get staying out of your personal space…after showing them a video of themselves going through your stuff, I would think they might be inclined to knock it off. This one is a wall-mountable switch that looks pretty much like a regular light switch plate (although not the ones in my house). Hidden inside it is a high-res pinhole camera. It runs off AC 110-220V power, includes a built-in rechargeable battery and records audio and videos (AVI format) to a removable Micro SD card (2GB included). If you leave it on, recording is motion activated, so you don’t have to worry about having a card full of pictures of an empty room. It also time- and date-stamps the recordings, so you can prove who was where and when. And it actually works as a light switch, which will make it infinitely easier to place in your house. It only comes in white, and is available now, starting at $43.46 US (the more you order, the cheaper they are), on sale from $65.19. Source: 7 Gadgets Share This With The World!
