Tired Of Losing Your Phone? Get a Grippy Pad!

Of course, you’re not supposed to be using your phone in the car unless it’s hands-free, but that doesn’t always work out. Depending on your car’s interior, you either end up putting your phone in a cup holder, or trying to hold it in your lap, or putting it on the dashboard. And then comes that bump, or sharp curve, or sudden stop, and your phone ends up…somewhere… Not good.

Grippy Pad offers an easy, cheap, and what appears to be pretty effective solution to the problem. Using technology that mimics a gecko’s feet, Grippy Pad will hold your devices in place under virtually any circumstances. Grippy Pad is made of an “advanced silicone material” that is resistant to water, sunlight, and high temperatures. Now, if you’re like me, you assume that anything sticky that lives on your dashboard is going to get full of dust and whatnot and lose its effectiveness. Never fear…all you have to do is wipe it with a damp cloth, and you’re once again good to go. What is not clear to me is how it attaches to your dashboard. I assume both sides of the pad are sticky, because having to glue it on would be somewhat impractical.

If you want to give this a try, it’s only going to cost you $11.00 US (about 7). You’ve spent more money on stupider things, right?
