The TomTom Action Camera Makes Uploading Videos a Breeze Dylan Duarte April 30, 2015 News With all the extreme sports I do, like couch surfing, surfing the Internet, and other types of sedentary surfing, I could really use something like TomTom’s new Action Camera, which they’ve launched to take on GoPro and the like. A companion app makes it easy to edit and upload your videos, and that easy editing seems to be the focus of the camera. The camera has a built-in media server that automally stores all of your videos and gives your phone access, so you can upload them to the web in a matter of minutes as long as you have cell reception. You can still upload your video to your PC by removing the Batt-Stick and plugging it in through USB. Something the TomTom Action Camera offers that many of its rival don’t is a full suite of sensors, including motion, GPS, speed, altitude, acceleration and even heart rate if you’re using it in conjuction with the TomTom Runner. The camera has a wide-angle lens, 16MP CCD sensor, powerful processor, and it’s waterproof up to 50 meters. The TomTom Action Camera will be available in Europe in May for 429 Euros and later this summer in the US. Share This With The World!
