OK, so maybe you will have some cares left, but at least cold hands will not be one of them. Because I don’t know about you, but when my hands are cold, I am absolutely miserable. Maybe because I spend a lot of time at a keyboard, maybe because I spend an equal amount of time working with intricate wiring… either way, if my hands are cold and stiff it does not bode well for how my day is going to go. Luckily, the winter here has been remarkably mild, but it still gets pretty darn chilly, especially at night.

These are being billed as the Ultimate Rechargeable Heated Gloves. Not having worn any kind of heated glove, I’m not sure how ultimate they are, but I’m willing to buy into it for the sake of argument. Completely aside from the whole thing where I hate when my fingers are too stiff to type, there is the very real possibility of getting frostbite, which can have grave consequences. These gloves are made with real leather palms, and are thinner and more flexible than other models. They feature 3M Thinsulate lining, and are powered by two virtually undetectable lithium-ion batteries. The batteries will keep your hands nice and warm for up to eight hours on a single charge.

They are waterproof and shock-resistant, yet still breathable (which you know is a bonus if you work outside in winter a great deal), and come in five sizes. You can choose from four different heat settings so you can remain comfortable no matter how cold it gets. They also come with a one-year warranty. What they do not come without is a cost, although they are on sale right now for $159.50 US from $199.00 US.
