The News: Sunday, May 18 Edition Beth Snyder May 18, 2014 This week has been an adventure. My mom had cataract surgery Wednesday morning, so since then I’ve been more amused than I should be due to her complete lack of depth perception, not to mention the eye patch. Then Friday night I went to the final home game in the second round of AHL playoffs, which left my boys down 3-2 in the series (Game 6 is tonight, 7 tomorrow, on the road). And Saturday I went to my sister’s house in an effort to figure out why her phone wouldn’t work after she got her new cable modem. Supposedly there was an outage in the area for the last two days, although it hasn’t affected my house or her other services. Whatever it was, I couldn’t fix it. So…reviews?
