The News: Sunday, August 10 Edition Beth Snyder August 10, 2014 And another week goes by! I wish I could tell you I accomplished something this week, but after Monday at my niece’s new house (where we got a ton of stuff knocked off the to-do list) I’ve pretty much been a slug. I’ve not been sick, just off, so I’ve been spending a great deal of time with a book in my lap… even went a whole 24 hours without once opening my laptop! One thing did happen, though. I saw the doctor, and have an official return to work date of September 9 (for those following the saga, that is nine months and four days since I crushed my foot). I’d be a liar if I said I wasn’t nervous. Taking almost a whole year off can’t have been good for me, especially at my age.
