While I agree that it’s still too early to really start thinking about Christmas no matter what stores would have us think, I do know if you’re planning to order custom-designed holiday cards to send you really need to start thinking about it soon. Some people go with a photo of their kids, some with a photo of their pets, others with their vacation pictures, and some just get them printed with a standard picture but their own special sentiment inside.

What about LEGO? How can we forget about LEGO?? Once again, LEGO has their Minifigure Family app available, and it’s just as fun as it was last year. I do wish there were more options for customization, but since it’s free I can’t complain.

All you have to do is head over to the site, then start adding your family members. You can add anywhere from one to 13 people, each customized and named on the card. Once you’ve added your family, then you choose the scene you want from 12 options. You can also move your family around in case you didn’t add them in the order you want them to appear. Once you’re set, you decide whether or not your family names show on the card, and you’re all done. The cards can be shared either by posting a link, or by email, or they can be downloaded.

LEGO holiday cards, and they’re free! What more could you ask for? The picture on this post is mine, and I’m sending it to everyone this year because I can.
