Mad Catz MLG Pro Circuit Modular Xbox 360 Controller Michael Kwan January 18, 2012 Just as PC gamers need to find just the right keyboard and just the right mouse to be able to pwn the competition, console gamers are much the same way. The regular old Xbox 360 controller sometimes isn’t enough for maximum pwnage and that’s why Mad Catz has come forward with quite the clever contraption. What you see here is the Mad Catz MLG Pro Circuit Controller, geared specifically for competitive gamers on the Major League Gaming circuit. They’ve taken the high quality materials and design of other Mad Catz products and adapted them to a modular controller. Do you prefer the convex thumb sticks of the PS3? No problem; swap it out. Prefer the PS3 style layout? You can do that too. You also get your choice of d-pads and, more likely than not, plenty of other modular upgrades down the line. That’s pretty sweet and it starts up at around the 3:30 mark of the video below from our friends at Think Computers. Also in the video (starting at around the 0:40 mark) is the new Street Fighter X Tekken Arcade FightStick VS. I had the chance to play Street Fighter X Tekken at PAX Prime last year and it’s a hoot. The new arcade fight stick allows two players to link up for a true arcade-like experience. This builds on the huge growth of Mad Catz Street Fighter controllers and while I don’t see Daigo linking up with anyone soon, you can be sure that the Mad Catz crew will be rocking these controllers at upcoming tourneys.
