Corsair Announces their new Vengeance Gaming Keyboards & Mice James White September 19, 2011 Press Release As the way you interact with your computer and the only part were tactile feel is important, peripherals are a unique design challenge. Corsair has taken this challenge with their first peripheral line of keyboards and mice with the introduction of their Vengeance Gaming Mice and Keyboards. As this is their introduction to this market, Corsair has optimized 2 keyboards and 2 mice for the most played genres. First up is the Vengeance M60 and K60 for first-person shooters. The Vengeance K60 keyboard has a distinct palm rest, rubberized keys for the most used FPS keys, red color easily spot these keys, and these keys are also cut to fit the natural shape of your finger tips. Its brother-in-arms is the Vengeance M60 mouse. This mouse also has a dedicated Sniper button to switch DPI for high accuracy shooting, adjustable center of gravity, and ergonomic design. The other pair from Corsair is the Vengeance K90 and M90 optimized for MMOs and RTS gaming. Instead of a left hand palm rest, the K90 has a full length palm rest. You will also find 18 macro programmable keys with 3 profile buttons for a total of 54 macros. The standard keyboard section has a blue back light. Its goblin slaying partner is the Vengeance M90 mouse. This time you trade the Sniper button for 10 thumb buttons positioned and designed to be used with small motions of your thumb. Including theses, the M90 mouse has 15 fully programmable buttons that can be saved to 6 profiles in the M90’s on-board memory. Both keyboards for Corsair have brushed aluminum casing, Cherry MX Red keys, 1000 MHz poll rate, 20 key rollover (6 is USB standard), and anti-ghosting matrix key design. Both mice have 5700 DPI lasers, unibody aluminum construction, PTFE glide pads, lift detection, gaming surface testing, and on-the-fly DPI switching. Considering the aluminum unibody construction, the MSRPs of $129 , $109, $79 and $69 for the KK90, K60, M90, and M60 respectively are great. If the software for these peripherals is great too, Corsair has another line of stylish PC parts just for us. For more information on the full lineup go to Corsair Vengeance Gaming.
