Unlike GIGABYTE who has been giving it up like a cheerleader, ASUS has been much more secretive. After much begging, they’ve finally allowed us to give you a sneak peak at their latest P8P67 Series Sandy Bridge motherboards that are due to hit the shelves early next year. We’ve been cleared to give you confirmation of four of what may be the nicest ASUS specimens to grace our eye’s to date. These boards are packing a lot more than just cool heat sinks, black PCB and the latest expansion.

The new boards from ASUS will feature technology like DIGI-VRM for maximum performance efficiency, BT (BlueTooth) Go, and a new all-in-one AI Suite II software that installs in one application, rather than having to install several like in the past. They will also feature the new Dual Intelligent Processors II. All these features should satisfy both regular users and enthusiasts alike. We’d like to explain how, but we’ve got a gag order put on us.

Here’s what the line up will consist of:

ASUS P8P67 Pro

This is the work horse of the bunch and will be very popular among the bang for buck users. There will be no shortage of features on this board.

ASUS P8P67 Deluxe

Aimed to live up to the expectations of more aggressive enthusiasts and gamers who just want more, this board is engineered not to disappoint. It is definitely “Deluxe”.

ASUS Maximus IV Extreme

From the ROG series, this board is designed for extreme gamers and serious overclockers hell bent on setting records, or pwning their opponent.

ASUS Sabertooth

Our opening pic is that of the new Sabertooth, an aggressive aberration of motherboard nature sporting an industry first 5 year warranty and a tactical vest of sorts for improved cooling. We know many of you are jonesin to get your hands on one of these just for the looks alone.

Yes, we know you’re dying to hear about pricing, performance, and overclocking. Like everyone else, our hands are tied and some things haven’t yet been announced. Just take some deep breaths, pull up a chair, and you’ll get your performance fix soon enough. We’ll spill what we’ve got as we get it.
