30 Video Games Made into Movies (For Better or Worse)

The early-to-mid nineties saw a few seasons of a Double Dragon cartoon, which in turn influenced a live-action film.  The brothers, Billy and Jimmy Lee, were played by Scott Wolf of Party of Five fame and Mark Dacascos, star of a myriad of direct-to-video films and the host of Iron Chef America.

Not excited yet? Big baddie Koga Shuko was played by none other than the T-1000 himself, Robert Patrick. Oh, and the film takes place in a somewhat post-apocalyptic Los Angeles circa 2007. Vanna White and Andy Dick appear as a news anchor and weatherman, respectively. Wait, it gets better.

The film was made for a measly $7.8 million, but managed to gross only $2.3 million. It was universally panned and a controlled  explosion using 700 gallons of gasoline and 200 gallons of alcohol prompted over two-hundred phone calls to emergency services from scared Ohio residents. I told you it got better.
