Although the name is driving me crazy, I’d be lying if I said I didn’t want a Znaps connector for my Samsung Galaxy Note. While a magnetic phone charger doesn’t sound like a big deal, there’s a reason Znaps has been featured on Cnet, Engadget, Gizmodo, and dozens of other websites. Oh, and they’ve raised $564,913 (over a $94,221 goal) in just a week.

What’s great about Znaps is that it’s not just a charging cable, it’s also a connector that fits into your phones charging port for that magnetic cable to snap onto. It not only makes it a breeze to plug in, but it’s even easier to pull apart, which will help prevent accidents if you ever accidentally yank on the cable. I’ve pulled my phone off my desk a few times by tripping over or hitting the cable and it’s a scary experience watching your phone go sailing through the air.

Znaps works with both Apple and Android and the lowest tier starts at around $9 USD and comes with a Znaps connector and adapter, which will ship in November of this year. Be sure to check out their Kickstarter to read all about it.
