Windows 8 Metro Fully Customizable Dylan Duarte May 22, 2012 I think the new Metro UI featured in Windows 8 is exciting, but I’m also terrified of change, so I understand if anybody is cautious about losing the Windows interface that they’re used to. Well, worry no more! Metro will be fully customizable, which means you can also do away with it completely if you so desire. While Microsoft is excitedly pushing the new feature, it isn’t forcing it on anybody. If you use a multiple monitor setup, which is pretty common nowadays, then your customization options get even more plentiful. You can choose to display the Metro or Classic displays in any arrangement you wish. You’ll also be able to do things like display multiple images on one desktop or one single image across several monitors. There’s improved customization of the taskbar as well. In short, it looks like Windows 8 will only be an entirely new experience if you make it that way. via Gizmodo Share This With The World!
