Watch ABC and Hulu Free Delaying New Shows Dylan Duarte December 31, 2013 There’s a war brewin’, folks. It’s a war between the cable companies and the cord-cutters and 2014 could get pretty nasty. ABC is following in the footsteps of networks like Fox, HBO, and Showtime and will soon require users to verify their cable account if they want to watch shows online the day after they air. That’s right! If you want a good alternative to a cable subscription, you better get a cable subscription. In even more disappointing news, Hulu is getting in on the practice of delaying shows. Thankfully it only applies to free users, as Hulu Plus subscribers will still be able to watch their shows in a timely manner. Free users, however, will have to wait an entire week to watch the latest episode of their favorite television show. Stay strong, cord-cutters! We’re closer than ever to our freedom!
