So…the Bruins made sure Pittsburgh wasn’t going to get the Cup, and more power to them! While I haven’t jumped on the bandwagon and declared my undying hatred of Sidney Crosby, I am glad to see them lose. Mostly because I’m not a fan, for no particular reason really…I’m just not, and haven’t been since Crosby was in diapers. So tonight the Kings will try to get another win on their side, or perhaps Chicago will finish them off. I still can’t make myself root for the Blackhawks, but I’ll be content either way. I’m fairly confident Lord Stanley will be spending the next year in Boston, and that works for me. Tonight also happens to be game one in the Calder Cup finals, and I’m hoping my boys win of course. Best of luck to all four teams…you wouldn’t have gotten this far if you weren’t this good, so do us proud!
