Play With LEGO: Get a Free NYC Hotel Stay

One of my favourite places is New York City. One of my favourite things is LEGO. Put the two together, and I am in seventh heaven. Yotel New York (which is located at Times Square West) is not only a beautiful hotel, but they love LEGO as much as I do. In fact, they love LEGO so much they’ve created a LEGO wall in their lobby, and they’re currently running a contest involving it.

The idea here is that people who are there will build their own LEGO creations on said wall, take a picture of them, and then upload them to Instagram or Twitter using the hashtag #MyLegoMasterpiece. The hotel staff will then view all the pictures and decide on a winner, and while that makes the contest entirely subjective, the rules are the rules. Grand prize will be a three-night stay for a maximum of three people in one of Yotel Hotel’s First Cabins (which include an outdoor terrace and hot tub). There will also be one Runner-Up prize, which will be a two-night stay for a maximum of two people in one of their Queen Cabins. There are, of course, various restrictions on when and how the nights must be booked, but we won’t get into that here.

Yotel Hotel is making very sure to mention prominently that LEGO is in no way actually affiliated with this contest. The hotel is doing it all on its own, because it loves LEGO. Similarly, Offerpop, where all pictures connected with the hashtag are displayed, has nothing to do with the contest. Don’t you love the legalities?
