Military Spouse Appreciation Day Beth Snyder May 6, 2011 It doesn’t matter what country you’re from, or how you feel about your particular country’s politics…you’ve got a military, and those folks most often have spouses. Today is the day to show them a little love for the things they endure at home without their life partners. Some of them make it look like a cake walk, but it can’t be easy, especially with children, to have your spouse away for long stretches of time, even if they’re not at war. On a personal level, I want to thank one particular US Army ex-wife for being who she is. Normally what she did would not be acceptable, but this time it directly benefits me, so I thank her for ruining what she had and giving me a chance.
