Microsoft Releases Translator App for Android Dylan Duarte August 7, 2015 News The Internet has done wonders in breaking the language barrier, whether it’s services like Duolingo helping people become bilingual or it’s the various online translators translating one word or phrase at a time. Thanks to Microsoft, translating other languages has just gotten a whole lot easier. Microsoft Translator is a mobile app that works on both Android and Android Wear. That means that while you’re out and about you can speak into the app and get an on-the-fly translation of whatever you say. I’ve played with the app a bit now and it’s incredible. There are dozens of languages that can be translated to and from and some (not all) have audible translations as well. In a pinch, you could even use this app as a direct translator between you and a second party. The voice recognition works well, even when I was doing a poor job repeating the few Spanish phrases that I know. You can get the Microsoft Translator app at the Google Play Store.
