The LG Q6, the first phone in LG's new Q series and a handset that shares DNA with the award-winning G6, is coming to Canada on September 28. According to LG, it offers the technology of their flagship phones at an exceptional price.

Let's run down the specs: Snapdragon 435 mobile platform, 5.5-inch 18:9 FHD+ FullVision Display, 3GB RAM/32GB ROM, 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel wide angle front camera, 3,000mAh embedded battery, and it's all running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

The LG Q6 offers a large screen in a phone that you can hold comfortably with one hand. The large screen allows for easy multitasking. The metal frame is made from 7000 series aluminum, which is commonly used in aerospace and marine industries, so the phone can take a beating. It was also designed to meet MIL-STD 810G standards, which is how they judge whether or not equipment can withstand extreme temperatures, humidity, dust, and rain well enough for use by the United States military. To top it all off, it has a thermal pad cooling system to help the battery dispense heat effectively.

The LG Q6 will be available from a variety of carriers in Canada. Pick it up through TELUS, Koodo, Mobile, Bell, Virgin Mobile, Freedom Mobile, or Videotron.
