LG Electronics Bringing Their Music Flow Wi-Fi Series to CES 2015 Dylan Duarte December 23, 2014 News, Press Release With CES 2015 just around the corner (January 6 – 9 in Las Vegas), companies are readying all of their new product lineups for the big show. LG Electronics will be showing their new Music Flow Wi-Fi Series, and, while the name isn’t the catchiest, there are some good looking products on the way. The LG H4 Portable/NP8359 is the company’s first battery-powered Wi-Fi speaker, which will be a dream for people like me who like to rearrange things all the time. There are also two new Wi-Fi Sound Bars. The HS7/LAS750M will fill the room with powerful HD sound while the HS9/LAS950M will let you hear those deep acoustics with clarity. Moving on from music, there’s the BP550 Streaming 3D Blu-ray Player which can connect to all of the Music Flow speakers to stream music from any CD or USB drive. Okay, I guess I was lying when I said we were moving on from music. The Music Flow Wi-Fi Series is designed to let you easily connect and disconnect speakers to other wireless devices using Advanced Wireless Network and Dual Band Wi-Fi technology. The Auto Music Play feature means that music playing on your smartphone will starting blasting through the wireless speakers when the phone gets within one foot, allowing you to come home and set your phone next to the speaker and instantly have music playing. The coolest feature, as far as I’m concerned, is LG HomeChat, which allows you to control your various devices using text message commands such as “play songs for party” or “turn off music after one hour.” You can also use the feature to set alarms and other alerts. LG certainly has some cool items coming up. If you can’t make it to CES, which I’m sure most can’t, you can still read the full press release below.
