BlackBerry Rio Z20

I swear, I have to be the biggest BlackBerry fanboy who doesn’t actually use a BlackBerry. After the recent release of the BlackBerry Classic, the company’s next phone is the upcoming BlackBerry Rio Z20, which will be officially unveiled next year. Thankfully this is the Internet and the phone was unofficially unveiled this morning.

It looks like the BlackBerry Z3 and is being touted as cheap yet powerful, though the specs are still very mid-range. It packs a 5-inch 1280 x 720 pixel display, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, an 8MP rear camera, a 2MP front camera, and a 2800 mAh battery, all housed in a 9.5mm chassis.

The BlackBerry Rio Z20 is looking at a February 2015 release window, but given that the phone hasn’t even been officially unveiled yet, keep in mind that that’s just speculation. There are no details yet concerning where it will be available or how much it will cost, but expect an affordable price tag.
