Grill Light Repels Mosquitoes Too! Beth Snyder July 18, 2011 Honestly, I’m not sure how much use I would get out of a light that clips onto the hood of my grill. I don’t so much barbecue at night, and if I do, I have a porch light. However, I can easily see using this clipped to a table or tent, primarily at my sister’s cabin where we tend to sit around playing cards or dice well into the night at a picnic table by the fire pit. If this did nothing else except provide a clip-on light, it would still be worth it. But with the bonus addition of repelling mosquitoes and other bugs, it leaps onto the “must have” list with a bullet. It features eight super bright LED lights on a 12-inch flexible neck, all mounted on a plastic clip that will attach to many things around your campsite. There is also an ultrasonic pest repeller, which will keep mosquitoes and a variety of other bugs away. Unfortunately, I can’t find a list of other bugs it works on, nor can I find a range of distance away from the light it will work. If you feel like giving it a whirl and seeing how well it works for yourself, you can pick one up for just under $17.00 US. It requires four AA batteries (not included).
