Google Fiber Rolling out in Kansas City Dylan Duarte November 14, 2012 Way back in July, which may as well have been a lifetime ago in this ADHD era we live in, we told you that Google was bringing its ISP service, Google Fiber, to Kansas City. Now, less than five months later, the service is being rolled out and Google has begun the installation process. Google is offering speeds of up to 1,000 Mbps, and according to an Ars Technica interview, one resident confirmed speeds of around 600-700 Mbps. While that falls a bit shy of the best the service has to offer, it’s still well worth the $70 monthly price tag. Google has released a video of the installation process, informing customers of what they can expect. The company has said that it wants to make sure it’s getting the little things right, such as punctuality and efficiency in their appointments. If they can pull that off, maybe they could have a chat with my local ISP. via The Verge Share This With The World!
