Girl Posts Pictures of Cash on Facebook, Gets Robbed in Real Life Dylan Duarte May 29, 2012 A 17-year-old Australian girl was helping her grandmother count her savings when she decided to take a picture of a “large sum of cash” and post in on Facebook. Less than eight hours later, a pair of masked men showed up at her door, forced their way inside, and then made off with money and stolen goods. Fortunately the picture she posted was taken at a different location and the men didn’t get the grandmother’s savings, only the small amount that the girl had on her at the time. It’s unknown exactly how the men got the girl’s address, but chances are good that she divulged the information on Facebook at some point. Thankfully nobody was injured in the ordeal, but let this be lesson #5239: be very, very careful about what you post online. If you post a picture of your mad stacks of cash, you’re practically begging somebody to come take it from you. via The Verge Share This With The World!
