There is always someone who wants to push the newest technology to its absolute edge. The new AMD Trinity APUs are going to be no different with GIGABYTE introducing their new FM2 socket lineup which will be built with the same quality as GIGABYTE's top-tier motherboards.
The GIGABYTE F2A85X-UP4 top-of-the-line motherboard is built with features you would normally find on their UD7 boards. The Ultra Durable 5 technology includes 6+2 power phase, all digital power controllers, 60A IR3550 PowIRstage ICs, high current caps, and Lucid Virtu MVP. Across all four of the upcoming motherboards, you will find Dual UEFI 3D BIOS and support for all of AMD's graphical technologies. It is also the only full ATX motherboard.
The other three motherboards are all mATX form factor; however, the F2A55H-HD2 is closer to a FlexATX form. This makes GIGABYTE the first to have a complete lineup ready for FM2 socket and not just new A85X based boards like others. This is great for those looking to use a FM2 APU for a SFF system since the smaller A55 based F2A55H-HD2 will be easier fit for smaller cases.
There is entirely too much information to go through for each of these four motherboards. If GIGABYTE is your brand and you are not sure which board you want, there is more below. The only thing I think is missing from this lineup is support for AMD AMP! which I would like to see added with a BIOS update in the near future.
