Fallout 4 GOTY Edition Bringing Back the Pip-Boy Dylan Duarte August 10, 2017 News Game developer Bethesda announced today that Fallout 4 is getting the “game of the year” treatment, which means that the game will be re-released with all of its downloadable content in one convenient package. What makes the deal even sweeter is that they’re bringing back the physical Pip-Boy that accompanied the $119.99 special edition when the game was first released almost two years ago. The arm accessory holds your smartphone (within a certain size) and the Fallout app makes it feel just like a real Pip-Boy! The GOTY edition will include the Automatron, Contraptions Workshop, Wasteland Workshop, Far Harbor, Vault-Tec Workshop, and Nuka-World expansions, as well as new features like survival mode and all the graphic enhancements that Bethesda released. It will be released on September 26th for PC, Xbox One, and PC for $99.99. Fallout 4 won more than 200 “Best Of” awards and beat Grand Theft Auto V’s record for most concurrent online players in a non-Valve-developed Steam game with 470,000 players online on launch day. Despite the awards and acclaim, it’s not the best received Fallout game, an honor that (arguably) goes to 2008’s Fallout 3. Share This With The World!
