If you live in the US and you’re waiting to get your hands on the BlackBerry Priv, the company’s new Android phone, AT&T will start selling the device this Friday, November 6th.

The Priv will cost $249.99 on a two-year contract, but if you’re a “well-qualified” customer you can get the phone for $0 down on one of the companies Next plans. The three plans will cost either $24.67, $30.84, or $37 monthly. BlackBerry has preorders up right now and the device will ship on the 6th as well, if you’d rather go that route, though the Priv unlocked will cost you $699.

I want the Priv to succeed so badly, both as a fan of BlackBerry and physical keyboards, but I have plenty of doubts. The competition is just too strong and I feel like I’m part of a dying race as a fan of slide-out keyboards. I don’t think there’s enough of a market left to make the Priv a big hit.
