Amazon Appstore Celebrates Anniversay with Discounted Apps Dylan Duarte March 16, 2012 The Amazon Appstore launched on March 22, 2011, meaning it will be one year old in less than a week. To celebrate, they’re discounting several Android apps, starting yesterday with Plants vs. Zombies for only 99 cents (down from 2.99). Today they’ll be discounting two apps, tomorrow three, and so forth and so on. Some of the titles that will see discounts are Fruit Ninja, Monopoly, Tetris, and TuneIn Radio Pro. Wolfram Alpha is also currently knocked down to 99 cents. Amazon has said that each title will be discounted by at least 50 percent. Sales are always fun and there’s some quality titles being discounted. Plants vs. Zombies is especially good, Fruit Ninja is a fun distraction, Tetris is a classic, and who doesn’t love Monopoly? As for myself, I might just give that Wolfram Alpha a whirl and make my smartphone just that much smarter. via The Verge Share This With The World!
