No, seriously…they make some pretty darn fine stuff, you should check them out if you haven’t already. Their latest offering isn’t technically an audio device, though it does come with ear buds. It’s a waterproof and crushproof case designed to hold your phone or MP3 player as well as a few things like your identification cards, credit cards, or cash. What more could you want? As I mentioned, the Eco Pod is waterproof and crushproof. It’s designed to hold an iPhone or iPod (or other smartphone or MP3 player) and features a clear front panel so you can see what’s going on with your device. It features a patented waterproof headset jack and ear buds (which are also waterproof; how cool is that?). There is an external pressure release valve which keeps your device safe not only in water, but when changing altitude. The outer shell is polycarbonate for shock resistance. You can choose to use no clip at all, or it comes with both a belt clip and a carabiner clip for easy attachment wherever you want it. Available separately is a clip for your bike if you’d rather put it there. Eco Pod complies with international waterproofing standards (IPX7 approved), and has been tested under three feet of water for 30 minutes straight with no leakage. But it will float if you drop it, which makes it ideal for use near a pool or other body of water. It even keeps sand out!
