Voice Print Jewelry: The Ultimate Customized “I Love You” Beth Snyder January 24, 2014 Valentine’s Day is fast approaching, and with it the pressure to find something unique, something wonderful, something your significant other will never forget, something that might even make them agree to spend the rest of their life with you. Jewelry is, of course, a standard gift for this particular holiday, but why not do something a little different this time around? Bza.biz is creating necklaces and earrings (and probably bracelets as well) from an audio recording of your voice saying just about anything you want. All you have to do is send it to them, choose your material and colour, and they will create a piece of jewelry that is as unique as you, your sweetheart, and the connection you share. Materials include plywood in various thicknesses (brown or black), and acrylic in various thicknesses (blue, black, white, red or rainbow). Necklaces are strung on either rubber or leather. They also offer 3D printed, silver-cast pieces, if you’d rather go that way. As a jewelry designer, I find this fascinating, and it’s definitely something I’ve never seen before. Imagine the look on her face when she opens a tiny little box to unveil earrings that tell her, “I Love You”…in a 3D representation of your voice saying it. That’s just neat. And I guarantee it’s something she won’t soon forget. Pieces vary in price based on material, length of what is said, etc., but starting price is around 29 (approximately $40 US).
