The OnePlus 2 Will Arrive in August Dylan Duarte July 28, 2015 News OnePlus 2 isn’t just three anymore. It’s also a flagship smartphone that packs a much bigger punch than you would expect from a phone so cheap. This shouldn’t come as a surprise to those familiar with the OnePlus One, which offered cutting-edge specs for only $300. The OnePlus 2 has been subject to numerous leaks over the past few months, but now we finally have the official specs: 5.5-inch 1080p screen, Snapdragon 810 processor, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, and your choice of either 16GB of storage and 3GB RAM, or 64GB of storage and 4GB RAM. The former will cost you $329, the latter $389. The frame is aluminum, but you can choose from a variety of backs that include wood, kevlar, and various textures. The bottom of the phone has a USB-C connector and the screen is equipped with a fingerprint unlock sensor. It’s all powered by Android 5.1 Then there’s the “shelf,” which you can access by swiping left from the home screen. Here you’ll find all your favorite contacts and the apps that you use the most frequently. OnePlus plans to expand on the shelf, giving it more functions. The OnePlus 2 should start showing up around August, but to pre-order one you’ll have to get an invite, just like last time. Fortunately, unlike last time, this time around it’s considerably easier to do: just go to the website and sign up to recieve one. Share This With The World!
