You know what’s weird? Not being at my house feels like a vacation even though when I’m at my niece’s house I have to get up five hours earlier than I normally do but stay up equally late. Yet it’s not my house, which makes it a break, so I’m good with that. Plus, there is a virtually endless supply of coffee. I do have to go home today at some point, but the last few days have been great. Of course, there’s also the part where I love hanging out with the kids, and not having to be in charge of cleaning or cooking. I love that.
