The News: Thursday, November 22 Late Edition Beth Snyder November 22, 2012 It just now occurred to me that since dinner, I have gotten out of this chair exactly once…and that was to go get more food. Because heaven knows there surely wasn’t enough eaten earlier today! I managed to fill an entire table full of food just for the two of us, and it was fabulous. Ever since then I’ve been sitting here either with my laptop or a book in my lap, doing absolutely nothing. It was better that way, as my foot decided halfway through dinner to make it known in no uncertain terms exactly how displeased it was with my frenzy of holiday cooking. You’ll have that. It’s why I still have narcotics…and apparently the attention span of a gnat.
