The News: Thursday, May 2 Edition

My AHL team leads their series 2-1, and my NHL team is down 0-1. That is pretty much the entire focus of my world at this point, since how well they do determines how much I’ll be working in the near future. Other than that, the combination of drugs they’ve got me on to try to fix my back have left me, shall we say, a trifle fuzzy. Like, head wrapped in 87 layers of cotton fuzzy. Luckily, I don’t have to work with any machinery or power tools, nor do I have to climb above anyone’s head to work, for at least a little bit. In the mean time, I nap.
