The News: Thursday, June 6 Edition Beth Snyder June 6, 2013 We’re playing for the Calder Cup!!! First time in franchise history, and last night’s game was absolutely edge-of-your-seat, nail-biting, heart-pounding fabulous! I realize not as many people get excited about the AHL as they do the NHL, but this is incredibly huge for us, and I couldn’t be more excited about it. Game One is Saturday, and while I won’t get to see or work any of the series due to other commitments, I can certainly follow along. I almost turned down the show I already agreed to do so I could work the home games next week, but my financial situation says I really can’t afford to do that. Still…I can’t even begin to tell you how amazing this feels! Oh, by the way…there are going to be some repeats in this one. Almost like a roundup, but not exactly.
