The News: Sunday, April 21 Edition

There are so many things going on right now I honestly don’t know which one or two to address. Which means my mind has bogged down, leaving me spinning my mental wheels in the vain hope that they’ll catch on something and get me in gear again. So far, that’s just not happening. I do know that my calendar has filled up pretty well, and I’m actually pretty glad I’m not back to work full time just yet. Monday work, Tuesday date, Wednesday work, Thursday work, then quite possibly heading to my niece’s house for the weekend so I can get my kid fix and take a break from the madness around here. Which will help me keep my mind off how much money I’m losing this week by not being able to work full time…if I was back 100%, I’d be working Thursday through Sunday with hardly a break for a nap, as this is the weekend we do every year with a concert and two university graduations (and often a hockey game…we’ll know that later today when the playoff schedule is posted) happening in our arena in the course of just four days.
