The News: Friday, March 29 Edition

So, here we are at the weekend again, which of course means I’m working again. Money is good, though, so I can’t really complain. Plus, we’ve got a bunch of NCAA hockey games this weekend, so it should actually be interesting. For those of you playing along with following my life, I had this date on Wednesday, right? It went pretty well, actually! At least, we plan to do it again at some point, and he’s going to attend my birthday party in a couple of weeks. Still not sure if it’s a thing or not, but at the very least I now have a new friend who I can have several-hour conversations with and there haven’t yet been any awkward pauses. And really…what more can you ask from a new relationship? Dating when you’re over 40 is simultaneously worse and better than it was at 20.
