Suzuki Files for US Bankruptcy, Will Still Sell Cars in Canada Allan Schroeder November 7, 2012 The Globe and Mail is reporting that due to dwindling sales, small product line and tough US regulations, Suzuki is declaring bankruptcy in the US and pulling out of the market. Suzuki will honour all warranties and buyback programs in the US, and continue to manufature parts to support the current vehicle ecosystem. With just over 5,500 cars left for the US Market, departure could come as early as the end of the year. Suzuki will continue to sell ATVs and motorcycles in the US market. Sale figures in Canada are more positive, up 28 per cent last month in Canada and one per cent in the first 10 months of the year.
