Samsung to Take Apple and Google to the Cleaners with New High-Density Display Dylan Duarte May 20, 2013 The folks at Samsung are looking to blaze a new trail in laptop displays this week as they unveil a new super-high resolution panel which is set to put Apple’s Retina MacBook Pro and Google’s Chromebook Pixel to shame. The 13.3-inch QHD 3200 x 1800 panel will offer 276 pixels-per-inch, which is a greater density than both Apple’s 227 PPI and Google’s 239 PPI. The new display also beats out Sharp’s impressive new line of displays, the greatest of which offers a density of 262 PPI. According to Samsung, the new display will also provide 30 percent great power-savings than existing LCDs, giving it another reason to become the new standard. Despite this, the company has yet to confirm whether or not the panel will be coming to the new ultrabooks. via The Verge Share This With The World!
