As if the folks at Samsung didn’t already have their hands full with exploding Galaxy Note 7 phones, now reports are coming in that some of their washing machines have been exploding, too. And given that washing machines are quite a bit larger than smartphones, the ensuing explosions have been much larger too, with one customer saying it penetrated the interior wall of their garage.

The defective units are specific top-loading machines manufactured between 2011 and 2016, and Samsung is offering a service that allows consumers to check their unit’s serial number to see if they’ve got a bad machine. In the meantime, the company is recommending using the delicate cycle when washing bedding, water-resistant material, and bulky items, as there have been no reported incidents stemming from that cycle.

The issue is supposedly caused by “abnormal vibrations” and Samsung is currently in talks with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission on how to proceed. If you own a Samsung washing machine, you need to check up on it ASAP.
