The News: Friday, October 18 Edition Beth Snyder October 18, 2013 Huh. Seems I have misplaced Thursday. This whole week (as I believe I’ve mentioned) has been full of learning a new yet familiar system for the LED boards at our arena. The first game is tonight, which comes with not only home opener stuff as usual but some special presentations and a banner raising ceremony because we are the defending AHL Calder Cup champions. It’s a whole lot of stuff to have going on, and we’re doing our level best to make sure everything goes smoothly. Which is something of a challenge when dealing with all new stuff and mostly new people. So here’s hoping that tonight goes well from a production standpoint, and also that the boys come out on top at the end of the game.
