New Google Nexus Tablet Rumored to Have 10.1-Inch, 300 PPI Display Dylan Duarte October 12, 2012 Google could be teaming up with Samsung to bring their Nexus tablet into the high-end, 10-inch class and they could be doing it as early as next year. The rumored new device will sport a 2560×1600 pixel display on a 10.1-inch tablet screen with around 300 PPI. This would best both Apple’s Retina display of 9.7 inches and 264 PPI and Amazon’s Kindle Fire HD display of 8.9 inches and 254 PPI. Samsung are no strangers to high quality displays, with their high-volume advanced AMOLED and LCD screens, but if they pull this off they will have outdone themselves and shot to the head of the class. That’s a lot of pixels to squeeze in. Of course, none of these details are officially confirmed, but it’s a solid rumor. Google’s no stranger to pushing the envelope and partnering with Samsung on a tablet could produce some pretty amazing tech. via Talk Android Share This With The World!
