It is time for the trickle down approach we have come to expect from Team Red. First we had the release of the new king of the graphics mountain in the AMD HD 7970, which I personally think is priced too high. Now we have the mid-ranged graphics cards in the form of the new 7700 series. Well MSI decided to skip the whole stock cooler versions altogether and go straight to the new MSI R7770 2PMD 1GD5 OC and the R7750 PMD 1GD5 OC.

These PCIe 3.0 7700 series GPU have with two mini DisplayPort 1.2s, one HDMI 1.4a port, and 1 DVI port with full 3D video support. These GPUs also support AMD’s Eyefinity multiple display output. The best part is the aftermarket dual fan coolers that keep the GPU nice and cool for up to 32.4% overclocking. How much is that? How does a GPU at 1.35 GHz sound to you.  These currently retail for around $159.99, which is a hard price point, but a much better price than its big brother.
