Minecraft Coming to Xbox Live Arcade May 9th Dylan Duarte March 23, 2012 It feels like Minecraft for XBLA has been in the works for a long, long time now, but the truth is it only officially hit PC in November of last year. For almost a year prior to that, it was in beta, and for over a year and a half prior to that, it was in alpha. Those phases lasted so long that it’s easy to forget that Minecraft only went gold five months ago. It seems to be worth the wait, as Minecraft is coming to Xbox 360 fully loaded, with a revamped crafting interface, a tutorial mode, split-screen and online co-op, and controls that have been refined for use with a controller. I’ve been playing Minecraft off and on for the past few years and I’m more than happy playing on my PC, but I may have to download the XBLA trial just to see it on my television. I hope the game experiences even a fraction of the success on Xbox 360 as it has on PC. via Engadget Share This With The World!
